Girl’s Weekend in the Mountains!
If you want to escape from the world for a while, and come back refreshed, this could be the perfect holiday for you. In the 1890s, the beautiful wife of a British army officer fell in love with the village of Gethia and decided to put out roots. This Nainital resort is famous today as Bara Bungalow. Bara Bungalow, Gethia is situated at 9 km from Nainital and 4.3 km from Naini Lake.For those who love to discover new places within the pages of books, this resort houses a reading room with a collection that would make an avid reader squeal in delight.Relax and sunbathe at the pool deck or swimming pool area. This property is located away from the towns and cities to ensure that social distancing can be practiced. Also the entire resort will be exclusively for the WOW CLUB gang. It’s a perfect type of ‘slow’ holiday to catch up with old friends and new.

Day 1
Journey starts from Delhi
Wanderers arrive at Delhi Airport by 4 AM and proceed towards the coach bus which will be waiting to take you to the mountains. Upon arrival, we check into the Bara Bungalow resort for some relaxation. In the evening, enjoy the bonfire and spend an evening in friendly banter followed by a welcome dinner.

Day 2
Experience Muskotia Foods
Post breakfast, we head to Muskotia Foods. Upon arrival, take a short trail into the forest with trained Muskotia staff. Return back for a scrumptious Kumaoni lunch. Later, enjoy the dinner with old and new friends.

Day 3
Half day excursion in Nainital
After a leisurely breakfast, we transfer to Nainital where you can spend half a day exploring this place on your own. Its an easy place to kick back and relax. Return at the parking area by 3PM for your transfer back to the resort. In the evening, return back to the Bara Bungalow resort for some amazing music and dance time along with delicious party food. This is a BYOB weekend (Bring Your Own Bottle)

Day 4
Departure
After early breakfast, we drive back to Delhi with a stop in the middle for lunch. Later, transfer to Delhi airport by 7 PM for your onward flight.

What meals are included on my trip? Can i request Indian / vegetarian / special cuisine on tour?
The exact number of meals included on the trip is clearly specified on the itinerary and is different for each trip. Our vacations strive to introduce you to local authentic flavors, so you can enjoy the destination in a deeper way. Therefore, included meals are usually local or continental. Please request vegetarian meals at the time of booking, and also with the local guide and WOW Buddy on tour; this can usually not a problem when requested in advance. When meals are not included, you may choose an restaurant of your choice in the city you are touring. -
Can WOW book the flights for us?
Definitely! We routinely book and manage flights for our Wanderers. We recommend that travelers get their flights booked through us as this comes in handy when there are issues to do with cancellations or re-routings. -
