Day 1
Welcome to Ulaanbaatar
Arrive at Ulaanbaatar. This is our capital city Ulaanbaatar, the largest city with over one-third of the Mongolia’s population lives here and is the political, cultural, industrial and transportation center. The city is situated in a valley at an elevation and surrounded by four holy peaks, which make a wonderful backdrop. On arrival transfer to the hotel and check in. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay at Ulaanbaatar

Day 2
Ulaanbaatar to Karakorum
After breakfast, check out we travel overland for 5-6 hours westward towards Karakorum. The ruins of ancient capital of the Mongolian Great Empire Karakorum are at the crossroads of the Silk Road. In the afternoon, visit the legendary monastery Erdene Zuu and Museum of Karakorum which gives a good introduction to Central Mongolia and its’ history and the UNESCO world heritage site Orkhon river valley. Visit Erdenesiin Khuree newly established calligraphy art gallery. The center is dedicated to the art of Mongolian calligraphy through time and to the preservation of this cultural heritage, Tamir Samandbadraa, well-known calligrapher is at the origin of this initiative and you will be able to admire his works. Later check into the camp and have dinner. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 3
Karakorum to Mongol Nomadic
This morning, check out of the camp and drive to Mongol Nomadic camp (4 to 5 hrs) near Hustai National Park. On arrival enjoy lunch and then you will see the signature activity of Mongol Nomadic natives, the Nomadic Show. The nomadic show displays the livelihood, customs and cultures of nomads of Mongolia, and allows the spectators to participate and interact with the nomads, which is a great chance to learn more about Mongolian nomad’s life and culture & visit Nomadic Family. Rest of the evening is at leisure. Overnight stay at Gobi Desert.

Day 4
Ulaanbaatar - South Gobi
Today after leisurely breakfast, check out of the camp in the morning and take a domestic flight to the South Gobi which is about one and half hour. Upon arrival have lunch in Dalanzadgad and then drive to drive to Bayanzag- aka the Flaming Cliffs (3 to 4 hrs). Enjoy the wilderness and unique nature formations and explore around the area. Drive to the camp and check in. Overnight stay at ger camp.

Day 5
Khongor Sand dunes
Today, checkout and drive to the Khongor sand dunes – one of Mongolia’s longest and most beautiful sand dunes that stretch over 180km in the arid Gobi Desert. The drive to the dunes at Khongoriin takes some 3-4 hours from ger camp, passing through vast desert badlands that span out into the furthest distances, where remote mountains line the horizon. Arrive in the late morning and visit the Nomadic family and enjoy a short camel ride at a nomadic camel breeder’s family. Visit to the dunes (Optional hike 2-3 hours). Return back to the camp and have dinner. Overnight stay at Gobi Desert camp

Day 6
Yol Am Gorge
Today after breakfast check out and drive to Yoliin Am Gorge (5 to 6 hrs drive). Break for lunch in between. We visit Yolyn Am gorge and enjoy its beauty with a gentle hiking of 1-3 hours. In the evening, transfer to the camp and check in. Overnight stay at ger camp.

Day 7
Khavtsgait Petroglyphs
After breakfast we drive to the Khavtsgait Valley, site of ancient rock drawings left by early Gobi settlers more than 5,000-7,000 years ago. We will trek to hundreds of petroglyphs adorn rocks scattered on the top of the mountain /around 2 hours trekking/. Return back to the camp by afternoon and rest of the day at leisure.

Day 8
Gobi to Ulaanbaatar
Enjoy the leisurely morning at the camp and drive to Dalanzadgad to board the intern flight back to Ulaanbaatar. Upon arrival have lunch at local restaurant. Visit to the State department store. In the evening enjoy a traditional music & dance performance by the magical Tumen Ekh ensemble. Overnight stay at Ulaanbaatar.

Day 9
Ulaanbaatar City Tour
After breakfast, Visit the Giant Chinggis Equestrian monument. Visit the Bogd Khaan’s Palace Museum the residence of the last king of Mongolia, and Zaisan Memorial located on a pretty hill south of the city for a panoramic view of the nomadic capital. Free time for shopping. In the evening proceed to the Farewell dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight stay at Ulaanbaatar.

Departure
Today after breakfast check-out from the hotel. Make our way to the airport to catch a flight back home

"We are all back from a wonderful holiday and but yet, I am not over with it. The hangover remains and I am sure this would remain in my soul lifelong.
The experience has been out of the world and this was my FIRST SOLO TRIP. I wasn't sure about the trip and how would the trip be managed and taken forward . Whether my decision in taking the trip with WOW was correct or wrong. I can proudly say that if I hadn't taken this decision I would have made the biggest mistake of my life and have had missed this wonderful experience which I would cherish throughout .
The trip has given me lots of motivations to get fitter in life and more positive. Made wonderful friends for a lifetime and all thanks to wow for the same.
