Day 1
Hello Durban!
Fly into Durban and transfer to the hotel and check in. This scenic South African beauty encompasses everything from jaw-dropping scenery to centuries-old architecture mingling with minimalist modern design. Its buzzing harbour and streets house nightlife and storefronts, and its beaches and mountainous surroundings are bursting with flora & fauna. Refresh and be ready for your pick-up transfer to Oyster Box Hotel for dinner. Back to the Hotel for an Overnight stay in Durban.

Day 2
Durban City Tour
After breakfast, we will proceed on the Durban city tour. Durban is a modern, vibrant cosmopolitan city and its lifestyle, architecture and culture reflect and thrive on its warm subtropical climate. Then continue to Inanda Heritage Township Tour allows a visit to some of Durban’s most important historical sites, where South Africa’s future changed for the better because of the bravery of a few individuals. After the Inanda Heritage tour, go to Phezulu Cultural Village for lunch, discover the incredible heritage of South Africa's Zulu peoples, and witness a colourful Zulu dance performance. Learn about local culture and where many Zulu people still reside. In the late afternoon, return to your hotel and for the rest of the evening is at leisure. Dinner on your own & Overnight stay in Durban.

Day 3
A Day Full of Adventure
Early morning at around 04:30 AM, check out & transfer to Scottburgh with a packed breakfast to enjoy the thrilling experience of Shark Cage Diving at extra cost (weather permitting). Come join the unforgettable Blue Wilderness shark cage diving in the open water. Divers and non-divers can rest assured that diving and observing with them will be a secure and wondrous experience. After shark diving, refresh & depart for another adventure in to Oribi Gorge for Abseiling & Zipline. You can also do Wild Swing at extra cost which is an unbelievable experience that leaves you breathless yet exhilarated. It is situated at the top of Lehr’s Waterfall in Oribi Gorge, this is the highest swing of its kind in the world. Later, have Lunch in Oribi Gorge & then drive to the Drakensberg. Check-in at the hotel late in the evening. Dinner & Overnight stay at the Resort.

Day 4
Drakensberg Hiking
After breakfast, join morning guided Hiking. The hike is suitable for people who wish to enjoy the hills & mountains without much strenuous activity & at a slower pace. (Walking duration: 3-5 hours). After then check out and make your way to AllOut Adventure for quad biking at extra cost. Have lunch & depart to Durban. Check-in at the Hotel & relax. Later, get ready for Dinner on Florida Road, which has definitely earned its reputation as one of the city's trendiest streets, where people gather to eat, drink, meet and enjoy Durban night buzz. Back to the Hotel & Overnight stay in Durban.

Day 5
Spotting the Big 5!
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Thanda Safari - Private Game Reserve (approx 3 hours). Thanda Safari is an authentic African experience like no other. It is a world of wilderness and wildlife game reserves, matched with a deep commitment to Zulu culture and environmental conservation. Experience the ultimate safari and game lodge experience with Thanda Safari, which has repeatedly been named the World’s Leading Luxury Game Reserve Lodge. On arrival, check-in and proceed for Lunch. Enjoy the afternoon game drive which may continue into the early evening to view the nocturnal animals as well. Get a chance to see the “Big 5” (Buffalo, Elephant, Leopard, Lion & Rhinoceros). Enjoy the dinner at the lodge and overnight stay in the Lodge.

Day 6
Experience Full Day Safari
Today wake up early and get ready for the early morning Safari. The early morning safari ensures that you get to be on the game drive as the animals start stirring. After the morning drive, return to the lodge & have breakfast & Lunch. Later in the day, you will do Afternoon Game Drive, all your senses will awaken during up-close encounters with the Big Five in their home terrain. The lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo: these icons of the African wilderness inspire a lifelong connection with Thanda Safari and this beautiful continent. Enjoy the dinner at the lodge and overnight stay in the Lodge.

Day 7
Departure Day!
Wake up early and get ready for the last early morning Safari. After the morning drive, return to the lodge & have breakfast before checking out. Depart and drive to St Lucia iSimangaliso Wetland Park for Hippo & Crocodile Boat Cruise. Park is a huge protected area along the coast of South Africa’s KwaZulu-Natal Province. The park’s centrepiece is the vast Lake St. Lucia, home to large numbers of hippos & crocodiles. After the cruise, continue your drive to Durban Airport for your onward flight home after a memorable and fun-filled trip.

Do you offer a travel protection / insurance plan for purchase? Is it included in the cost?
Yes, we do offer a travel insurance which is included in the package cost. For travelers above 59 years and above, an additional amount will be charged. -
Can WOW book the flights for us?
Definitely! We routinely book and manage flights for our Wanderers. We recommend that travelers get their flights booked through us as this comes in handy when there are issues to do with cancellations or re-routings. -
