Day 1
Dehradun – Rudraprayag
We arrive in Dehradun and start our journey towards Rudraprayag after having Lunch at a local restaurant. Rudraprayag lies at the confluence of two rivers Alaknanda and Mandakini. It is one of the Panch Prayags or five confluences of Alaknanda River. Rudraprayag is best described as the "Abode of Gods" with majestic Himalayas, gushing water of the sacred rivers, and a rich variety of flora and fauna. Later in the Evening we will rest for the day after a long drive. Overnight stay in Rudraprayag.

Day 2
Rudraprayag - Govindghat
After an early breakfast we will begin our journey to the next pit stop, Govindghat. Enroute we will cross Joshimath, it is considered to be one of the most sacred places by Hindus who believe that Badrinath (The God Vishnu) resides here in winter. Overnight stay in Govindghat.

Day 3
Govinghat - Ghangaria
Today we head to our trek after an early morning breakfast to Ghangaria. It is also the base camp for the trek to Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib. Ghangaria is situated at the confluence of the rivers Bhyundar Ganga and Pushpawati, which forms Lakshman Ganga. It is the last human habitation in the Bhyundar valley. Overnight stay in Ghangaria.

Day 4
Ghangaria – Valley of Flowers
Ghangaria to the Valley Of Flowers is a mix of gradual, steep uphill and scenic trek with breathtaking views. After the entry point, you are free to move around at your own pace to enjoy the scenic views of the valley. The Valley Of Flowers is a UNESCO world heritage site. After the nature walk we will have packed lunch and head back to our camp. Overnight stay in Ghangaria.

Day 5
Ghangaria – Hemkund Sahib
We start early on our trek to Hemkund Sahib. The climb to Hemkund Sahib is pretty steep as it is the world’s highest Gurudwara and is located near a beautiful glacial lake surrounded by mountains. It is a pilgrimage place for both Hindus and Sikhs. We trek back to the Ghangaria camps for the night. Overnight stay in Ghangaria.

Day 6
Ghangaria - Rudraprayag
We start our return journey today with a trek down to Govindghat. On arrival we will have our lunch, board our coach and head for Rudraprayag. Overnight stay in Rudraprayag.

Day 7
Rudraprayag - Rishikesh
We continue our return journey on road from Rudraprayag to Rishikesh. Located near the foot of the Himalayas in the Indian state of Uttarakhand this is the 7th largest city in India. It is also called as the “Gateway to the Garhwal Himalayas”. The town is a famous tourist spot and also a major pilgrimage spot for the Hindus. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.

Day 8
Departure
After breakfast leave for Dehradun airport to catch your return flights to respective cities.

Regarding the hotels, what does OR SIMILAR refer to?
OR SIMILAR means that the hotel booked might be different from the hotel mentioned in the itinerary. 90% of the time we book the hotel that’s mentioned, but under few situations it might differ due to on-the-ground factors. So we pick an alternate hotel, but always in the same class and area of the city. -
