I want to thank you for this really lovely Italy trip. This was my very first trip with the WOW Club and I am ready to promote it to all women interested in traveling!

I must mention that everything was so well organised. The tours and the guides, the road travel, etc and the hotels too. Our small group of ladies bonded so well with each which made the whole tour even more comfortable.

Cheers to you Vithika for being so calm patient and nice! I have a lot of lovely memories of this holiday which will remain with me for a long long time. Thank you again Vithika and the WOW team!

I have always wanted to travel. WOW suited me to the tee. Women on Wanderlust had the right equation for travel - some least trodden destinations. Wonderful inspirational company. Enriching experiences. Some unique, out of the world places to stay - a castle, a trullo, a cave..... some great tasting of food, wine, cheese and more.

Every trip had an element of a fulfilling, new surprise. So this recent trip with WOW to Corsica and Puglia in Italy (both, off-the-beaten-track) was just as satisfying and incredible. Both spectacular in their own way.

Thank you, Sumitra for the many unforgettable moments with you and the quaint places you take us to, and not to forget the lovely bunch of Wanderers. Cheers to many more! Gracie

These words from a Beatles song epitomizes what I feel every time I take a holiday with Sumitra and the WOW Club! But from all my travels our trip to Puglia, the southern ‘heel’ of the boot shaped southern part of Italy, stands etched in my memory.

A beautiful and spectacular part of Italy, more cross cultural, with a lot of Byzantine, Turkish and Middle-east influences, the landscapes are dotted with ancient olive trees and the coastlines are ravaged by the deep blue Adriatic and Ion seas. It is not uncommon to chance upon ancient Roman architectural ruin at almost every corner! The food is rich with sun grown vegetables and the beautiful pecorino cheese and the breads... Mama Mia! the breads are golden with warm crusts and golden dough inside.

The visit to the Blue Grotto caves was the high light. Inky blue waters with shafts of sunlight dancing on the gentle waters with the boat men singing ‘Oh Sole Mio’ just lifted my heart enough to bring tears of pure joy to my eyes...

Parting is always such sweet sorrow with the camaraderie we shared and the friendships and bonds that were nurtured only the way women can do it...until next time Puglia...Ciao.
