Day 1
Welcome to Egypt
Welcome to Cairo International Airport. Transfer and Check in to the hotel (group transfers only) and recover from the long journey. Unwind and relax. This evening we set off to go for an incredible Nile Dinner Cruise along with folklore entertainment. After an exciting evening, we return to our hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 2
Captivating Cairo
After breakfast, we start our much awaited Egypt trip to see the Great Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders and the Great Sphinx. After an exciting encounter with history & more we settle down for lunch. A visit to mysterious Cairo is never complete without exploring the Grand Egyptian museum. The museum has one of the world’s best collection of Ancient Egyptian artifacts, including 12 rooms filled with treasures from the tomb of the boy king Tutankhamun. After that, we return to our hotel for overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 3
Cruising on the Nile
Post breakfast, checkout and take the flight from Cairo to Aswan (flight not included). After arrival at Aswan, visit Philae temple and the High Dam. We will then drive to the Nile River Cruise port & check into the ship for a lovely stay. Post lunch, hop onto the motor boat and visit the Nubian Village - to experience the simple life of the local people of Nubia. Proceed to Sofitel Old Cataract Hotel (transfers only / drinks at own cost) , later return to the cruise. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Aswan.

Day 4
Excursion to Abu Simbel
An early morning starting at 04:00 AM takes you touring to one of the most special places in Egypt ,the Abu Simbel temple, take your packed breakfast before de-boarding the cruise. Drive back to the cruise for lunch and enjoy the afternoon with the breathtaking views while we sail to Kom Ombo. Visit to Kom Ombo Temple. Later sail to Edfu. Dinner & overnight stay on board in Edfu.

Day 5
Edfu & Luxor
At 06:00 AM, depart to visit the Edfu temple located on the west bank of Nile River. Return to the cruise for breakfast. Later we begin our cruise to Luxor via Esna, enjoying the delicious lunch on board. Next we cast anchor at Luxor to visit Karnak Temple. Visit the largest open-air museum in the world “Karnak Temple” in Luxor and attend the fascinating Karnak Sound and Light show. Return to the cruise for dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.

Day 6
Luxor - Cairo
Early morning at 04:00 AM we get ready for the thrilling (optional activity at extra cost) Hot air balloon ride(weather permitting). After an exciting day we return back to cruise to get freshened up and to have breakfast. Post breakfast checkout from the cruise and visit the west bank – Valley of the Kings and Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Stop for Lunch . Proceed to Luxor airport for flight to Cairo (flight not included). After our arrival in Cairo, we will proceed to to El Moez Street for walking tour. Transfer and Check in to the hotel. Overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 7
Cairo - Sharm
Enjoy the leisure breakfast and checkout to transfer to Cairo airport (group transfers only) for flight to Sharm (flight not included). On arrival , transfer to hotel and check in. Later , enjoy the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Sharm

Day 8
Enjoying Sharm at Ease
Enjoy the breakfast at the resort. Today the day is free for leisure and relaxation. Or you can opt to engage yourself in the optional tour to DAHAB (at extra cost). Head to Dahab in 4 X 4 vehicle (1 hr drive approx) for a full day tour of exploring the the untouched deserts of Sinai driving through Wadi Mandar & enjoy unforgettable view of the Red Sea from the top of the mountain then drive through Wadi Kheriza back to the asphalt road to Dahab whereby you go for an unforgettable swim & snorkel in the Blue Hole in Dahab. Enjoy Lunch . In evening transfer back to the . Overnight stay in Sharm.

Sharm - Cairo - Departure
Today after breakfast and we will checkout and transfer to the Sharm Airport (group transfers only) for the flight to Cairo , from here board the flight Back home with memories.

"Just returned from a WOW trip to Egypt - Overall an awesome trip with lot of history, some adventure, and fun activities. It brought back the memories of history lessons from childhood. I loved the pick hotels - Mena House at Giza, The Savoy hotel at Sharm el Shiekh. Sharm el sheikh was a welcome addition to the itinerary - it is the modern and relaxed side of Egypt. Thank you for including this! We enjoyed the option of scuba diving and snorkeling in the Red Sea at Sharm. Pretty exciting exploring under water! Hiking the colored canyon was a spectacular adventure, and the Shisha experience during our WOW farewell dinner was great fun too. Would I recommend Women On Wanderlust - Certainly!

"I love the collective energy of the WOW group, the Egyptian history and archaeology, and the knowledge that I gathered on the trip. Egypt lives up to its hype. The pyramids at Giza, the Cairo museum and the brilliant story telling by the Egyptologists are a few of the experiences that made my trip so memorable. The Cairo museum is hands down the best museum I have been to. Seeing Tutankhamun's solid gold coffin was literally a hair raising experience. Lastly, the trip is so successful because of the motley mix of maidens. Everyone brought in their uniqueness. We laughed our way through the entire trip.

Regarding the hotels, what does OR SIMILAR refer to?
OR SIMILAR means that the hotel booked might be different from the hotel mentioned in the itinerary. 90% of the time we book the hotel that’s mentioned, but under few situations it might differ due to on-the-ground factors. So we pick an alternate hotel, but always in the same class and area of the city. -
How much time it takes to procure Egypt Visa?
It takes 12 to 15 working days to process the Visa for Egypt. -
Why don't you include flights in the Package cost?
Since our wanderers are located a variety of locations in India and outside India - it is impossible to include flights in the trip cost.
