If you want to escape from the world for a while, and come back refreshed, this could be the perfect holiday for you. Every old house comes soaked in myth. So a century-old home has its fair share. In the 1890s, the beautiful wife of a British army officer fell in love with the village of Gethia and decided to put out roots. The entire hillside belonged to her, and she chose the best spot to site her house. This Nainital resort is famous today as Bara Bungalow. Offering a garden, sun terrace and outdoor pool, Bara Bungalow, Gethia is situated few kilometers from Nainital. It’s a perfect type of ‘slow’ holiday to catch up with old friends and new.

Day 1
Arrive in Delhi
Wanderers arrive at Delhi Airport by 2AM and proceed towards the coach bus which will be waiting to take you to the mountains. Upon arrival, we check into the Bara Bungalow resort for some high tea and relaxation. In the evening, enjoy the bonfire followed by a welcome dinner.

Day 2
Experience Muskotia Foods
Post breakfast, we head to Muskotia Foods. Upon arrival, take a short trail into the forest with trained Muskotia staff. Return back for a scrumptious Kumaoni lunch. Later, return back to the Bara Bungalow resort for some amazing music and dance time along with delicious party food. This is a BYOB weekend (Bring Your Own Bottle)

Day 3
Half day excursion in Nainital
After a leisurely breakfast, we transfer to Nainital where you can spend half a day exploring this place on your own. Its an easy place to kick back and relax. Return at the parking area by 3PM for your transfer back to the resort. In the evening, enjoy a cozy movie night with friends around followed by dinner.

Day 4
Departure
After early breakfast, we drive back to Delhi with a stop in the middle for lunch. Later, transfer to the airport by 6PM for your onward flight.

What does twin share price mean?
Twin share price is the price mentioned against a package and it refers to the cost per head for a double sharing accommodation. If you'd like to upgrade to Single Occupancy, please select this at the time of checkout -
What size can my suitcase be?
Generally, check in bag should have dimensions not exceeding 30″x 21″x11″ and weight not exceeding 22 kg. Carry-on luggage should not exceed the dimensions of 12″x11″ x6″ and weight not exceeding 7 kg. Though, because of differing terms of various airlines you must check your ticket copy and baggage allowance once your ticket is booked. -
What meals are included on my trip? Can i request Indian / vegetarian / special cuisine on tour?
The exact number of meals included on the trip is clearly specified on the itinerary and is different for each trip. Our vacations strive to introduce you to local authentic flavors, so you can enjoy the destination in a deeper way. Therefore, included meals are usually local or continental. Please request vegetarian meals at the time of booking, and also with the local guide and WOW Buddy on tour; this can usually not a problem when requested in advance. When meals are not included, you may choose an restaurant of your choice in the city you are touring. -
Can WOW book the flights for us?
Definitely! We routinely book and manage flights for our Wanderers. We recommend that travelers get their flights booked through us as this comes in handy when there are issues to do with cancellations or re-routings. -
