Day 1
WELCOME TO VIETNAM!
Xin Chào! Welcome to Hanoi, Vietnam (Flight arrival post midnight). Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Check-in the hotel and relax. Post breakfast at the hotel, we start our sightseeing to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Complex, Ho Chi Minh stilt house, the One Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature. Then proceed to Train Street. Later in the evening, we would see the water puppet show and enjoy a local dinner with local family. Return back to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Hanoi.

Day 2
DAY TRIP TO NINH BINH
After an early breakfast, embark on a 2.5 hour scenic drive to Ninh Binh. On the way stop at Hoa Lu. Witness the outstanding architecture of temples of King Dinh and King Le. Then proceed for Lunch. Post lunch, Taking a boat excursion from Trang An wharf. Drive back and overnight stay in Hanoi.

Day 3
HALONG BAY CRUISE
Post breakfast, we checkout and drive to Halong Bay (3 hrs approx/170 kms). Arrive at the jetty in Ha Long City towards noon and proceed to check-in at the cruise. Enjoy a local lunch. Towards the end of the day, the boat sets anchor for the night among the karst formations. Dinner will be served on board. Overnight stay on the cruise.

Day 4
HALONG BAY - HOI AN
Have breakfast on board and continue the journey on Halong Bay in the early morning. Once the boat cruises back to the jetty, enjoy the traditional Vietnamese brunch. Post de boarding, transfer to the airport for a flight to Danang City. Upon arrival in Danang City, a private transfer to the hotel in Hoi An. Check in the hotel then relax. Overnight stay in Hoi An.

Day 5
BA NA HILLS – GOLDEN BRIDGE
Have breakfast and drive to Ba Na Hills (40kms/ 1 hour). On arrival, take a Cable Car ride from Ba Na Hills station, and stop at By Night station to visit Vong Nguyet Hills, Linh Ung Pagoda, and The Old Villas of French. Further, take a cable car to the Nui Chua Mountain - the top of Ba Na range, visiting Nghinh Phong top, Le Nim Villas, Orchid Garden and flower garden Le Jardin D’amour. Also take a walk on the famous Golden Bridge. Have a buffet lunch in Bana Hills. Transfer back to the hotel. Overnight stay in Hoi An.

Day 6
HOI AN - HO CHI MINH
Breakfast in the hotel then check out. Transfer to the Coconut Forest for basket boat ride. Transfer to Hoi An ancient town, visit the Japanese Covered Bridge, Sa Huynh Cultural Museum, and Ancient House and walk around lantern street, and shop at the local market. Transfer to the Danang airport for the flight to Ho Chi Minh. On arrival in Ho Chi Minh city, transfer to hotel and check in. Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 7
MEKONG DELTA
Have breakfast at hotel. Transfer to My Tho, and visit Vinh Trang Pagoda. Then boarding the sampan and cruising down the river around the Unicorn island. Go walking around the Unicorn island country lane and view the stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Enjoy boating on a hand-rowed sampan along natural canals, enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of “Southern Vietnamese folk music”, performed by locals. Have lunch at a restaurant. Return back to the city. Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 8
CU CHI TUNNELS - DEPARTURE
After breakfast, we check-out and transfer to Cu Chi Tunnels (60 kms/ 1.5 hours). Return to Ho Chi Minh City. In the afternoon, visit Independence Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral (from outside), and the historic Central Post Office followed by shopping time in Ben Thanh Market. Later, enjoy Bui Vien Pub Street and dinner in the restaurant. Post dinner, transfer to the airport for your departure flight back home.

"This was my fifth trip with WOW in under 2 years and my first international one, so I had a lot of expectations and they were almost all met and sometimes even exceeded. And how could I ever forget getting to see the Pandas close up. I consider them my spirit animal - try to move for like a second and if not possible then fall back down and rest a while... ha ha.... I only wish they allowed people to hug them but of course it's good for the Pandas that they don't.

I also absolutely enjoyed every meal on the trip and really relished the Chinese delicacies served up. Was so glad to have had the local fare... if only I could've managed the chopsticks... oh well there's always next time. This trip gave me a glance at a different way of life and has left me intrigued to explore more.

Regarding the hotels, what does OR SIMILAR refer to?
OR SIMILAR means that the hotel booked might be different from the hotel mentioned in the itinerary. 90% of the time we book the hotel that’s mentioned, but under few situations it might differ due to on-the-ground factors. So we pick an alternate hotel, but always in the same class and area of the city. -
